In 2023, more than 2 billion people throughout the globe will use WhatsApp, making it one of the most widely used messaging apps in the world. Many users want to know whether they can see which users have viewed their profiles, and many users have asked if this is possible. Is there a way to detect whether someone is stalking you or checking you out on the app? Can you regulate who sees your updates and who can get in touch with you? All of your questions, and more, will be answered in this article.
There will always be people you’d rather not talk to on the internet, just as there would be on any social network. How much say do you get over who sees what on WhatsApp? The truth is, you have a lot of say over how this data is used. You can decide whether or not to give viewed receipts upon request, disclose your live location, and who can access your last seen and profile photos and “About” information on WhatsApp.
Who Viewed My WhatsApp Profile?
You cannot see who views your WhatsApp profile. This does not track profile views. Profile visits are hidden. Apps (blocked from the google play store that you have to central onto your phone) that claim to offer this information are lying. Since WhatsApp is so basic, no apps exist for this. Statuses don’t require photos or likes. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your privacy values), you cannot see if someone has read your profile.
Protection Of Personal Data
Who can see what in your WhatsApp profile depends on the privacy settings you’ve chosen. Everyone, your contacts exclusively, or no one at all can be given permission to see your content.
Modifying these parameters is simple.
- Click on Settings
- Click on Account
- Click on Privacy
- Change the preferences according to your need.
Know Who Is Stalking You On WhatsApp
If someone is stalking you, they will have to add you before you can see who they are. The WhatsApp app is really easy to use. A person can get in touch with you by phone or text message if they know your number or can locate you through a search. If someone is stalking you on WhatsApp, the most they can do is check your profile for updates (at which time you would know they were a stalker).
Unlike Facebook, though, where users regularly update their statuses, This is more of a one-and-done affair. A stalker can’t learn anything about you beyond your public status updates, and there’s no mechanism for you to know if someone is following you. If you’re concerned about a stalker, you have a couple of options: try to identify them (most stalkers are people you already know), or refrain from using the post as a real-time feed on what you’re doing. Feeling Great Today! will tell no potential stalker anything about you beyond the fact that you are in a good mood.
Block On WhatsApp
If you want to block someone on WhatsApp here is the easiest way:
- Select the contact from the list which you want to block/report.
- Tap on the i on the photo
- Tap on block
The options to delete or block the contact can be found here. When you’re done, they won’t be able to access your is account.
Is There A Notification For Last Seen In WhatsApp?
No one can review your WhatsApp Last Seen, and there aren’t any programs to track it. This is useful only for checking who has seen the other person’s narrative. Who has seen it, and not how many times or App features, is all you can see. Only the storyteller may see that information. If you have receipt set on, they may see the number of times you visited their story.

How To Know When Someone Has Viewed Your WhatsApp Story
- Click on the Privacy Setting by browsing through the Security section
- At the end of the scroll click on Read Receipts option
Once “Read receipts” is on, you and the other WhatsApp user who has enabled receipts will be able to access each other’s conversation histories. When the other individual has their read receipts enabled, you can see how frequently they have viewed your story, which can be helpful if you are concerned about a stalker.
How To Know Who Viewed Your Status
You can check who has viewed your status update. WhatsApp Status updates, in contrast to your profile, do let you know if somebody is stalking or just browsing your account. A simple click on the “eye” icon at the bottom will reveal who has seen your status update.
If you post something to your Status and then wait more than 24 hours, you will no longer be able to examine its viewership statistics.
